MIPSโ
Multi-directional Impact Protection System: a low-friction liner that lets the shell rotate slightly around the head, reducing rotational forces in an angled impact.
- Not every model offers it, and it adds a little weight and cost.
- Some brands ship their own equivalent instead, so absence of the MIPS label alone is not a verdict on the helmet.
